Sometimes I’m really curious to know what the purpose of a blog is. Is it about rambling ALL your personal thoughts? or is that more of a tool where you want to project yourself the way you want others to receive your personality? What I mean is that basically we blog about only those incidents which we particularity to share with the world; while there may be several other which are better kept safe within our own hearts.

Anyways, I’m not really sure if I would blog about my ALL of personal thoughts. Perhaps there are some things which I won’t feel like discussing here…after all the blog is a reflection of me; not me entirely
Today I want to talk about love. Yeah, its too personal; but to some extent it is generalized too. When it comes to my love, it is personal; but when we talk about love as an emotion touching every heart, there cannot be anything more generalized than that. Let us talk about that generalized aspect of love.
It is something we hear of in childhood; mostly in movies and Agony aunt columns of weekly magazines. Then just as we step into teens we start drooling over some dashing hunk starring in Television soaps and very soon the reel life guy is replaced by some real life cute and amicable guy who starts residing onto your dreams. Am I talking too much of looks? Well, I guess it applies to most of us. Until a point of time, you lack the ability to judge someone beyond his physical traits. And the way that person admires your beauty also counts. You loved it when the guy you secretly admire sweeps you off the feet with the killer looks of his eyes
As you remember it often, you find yourself blushing with smile. And slowly you start feeling that he loves your beauty and also YOU.
Well, the same saga rules even in later years. You cannot help feeling beautiful when the guy of your dreams showers you with compliments. But slowly you start differentiating between love that is full of admiration to the love full of care. When someone admires you in love, he admires you beauty, may be some bit of your personality, your thoughts and long for your company…but a number of love stories comes to an end on that point. It doesn’t culminate to that level of glory when one forgoes his own happiness for love.
And when it reaches that point, you start to wonder if you have had ever been in love before. It is a kind of love which can not be put into words. You are again swept off your feet; but this time by the love and care of the person. And you find yourself caring about him too. Sometimes, it might just be friendship and not on be “LOVE” on the other end; but it doesn’t really matter. You love the person unconditionally. You start caring about that person. It does not matter where the relationship takes turn later; but the love that has touched you once bears its fragrance for a lifetime.
