Hello all,
This is my first blog in WordPress. I had heard from my peers the WordPress is a great platform to have a blog provided you are not keen to place ads. Though for me, ads have always been lucrative, I prefer to refrain from them when it comes to personal blogs. “Flakes Of Thoughts”, which is all about penning down my wierdest thoughts and fantasies, would definitely be a great fit in WordPress. Something thatI really admire about WordPress is its interface. Though they don’t really provide that option to experiment with it much unless you are a CSS pro, I like it my way.
While blogging, the first question that comes to my mind is “Why?”, “why blog at all?” Well, I still remember the days when my school teacher used to give a nice pep talk about maintaining a personal dairy. She tried her level best to make us cultivate this habit. And all the students, specially me turned a deaf ear to her words. There were two hard reasons for that.
Firstly, at that age, we didn’t really have anything to talk about. We were yet to have any personal opinion on any subject. Secondly, there was really no one to listen to my daily titbits.However, both of these factors no longer exist. In the span of 23 years, I’ve more than enough matters to express my opinion about. And, the web has offered more than enough listeners to my words. Thanks to the contributions of technology
